What has happened to the impeachment process of this arrogant Bush administration?

I what t.v. like most of you, and I get the news of how this administration handles the most prevailent things we face as a nation. Not to my surprise, they continue to serve this country and we let them do it, why? Is there anything going on judicially to put these people where they belong?|||The answer is there was never any impeachment process to start with. There were no Congressional Hearings, no Articles of Impeachment brought forward and no votes. What did happen was calls from disenchanted Bush haters demanding impeachment and believing incorrectly that the new Democratic controlled Congress would make it a top priority in return for being elected. However, you cannot impeach a President just because you do not like him or his policies. Whether Bush is guilty of impeachable offenses is irrelevant without hard factual evidence. Unsubstantiated supposition and bad policy decisions do not count. If they did no President would ever make it past his first year in office, much less his first or second terms. The facts are these. The Congress understands that any attempt at impeachment would not pass as to date there is no substance to base such charges on. George Bush will finish his term and his ultimate legacy will determined by history.|||Me thinks Bush is doing a fine job.|||There is nothing to impeach him for... arrogance isn't against the law.|||Well, a bunch of people screamed for impeachment, then people with brains looked at everything and came to the conclusion there was nothing done that ranks at the level to warrant the proceeding and they moved on.|||Mastermind is correct... if there was something he could be impeached for the Democrats would have done it by now. Of course that would put Cheney in charge and I don't think ANYONE wants that.|||I have no idea why they haven't impeached him.

The latest news is that he basically supports Clinton and they are now outsourcing our passports to Taiwan.

Something needed to be done some time ago about his impeachment.|||There could be nothing going on judicially to impeach President Bush. You obviously did not learn much about our government in school. An impeachment is entirely handled in the Legislative Branch. The House of Representatives Impeaches and the Senate then tries the case. Did you miss the TV coverage when Clinton was impeached?|||hummmm interesting . could you give some examples as to why you feel he should be impeached ? go on and start making false accusations lol

ADDED**

1 Katrina mishandling was due to a ignorant mayor . i think we as a country came together to help everybody . you do realize that NO is well below sea level and they had been warned that the levey wouldnt hold a cat. 5 .

2 i didnt know bush was the one to hand out passports , i have one and i looked for his signature and didnt find it .

3 middle class housing crisis ... i am middle class and i DONT extend myself beyond my means , maybe others should try to quit "keeping up with the jones" . if you cant afford it then DONT buy it , simple as that !!!!

4. rich upper class ... well they have went to college (most of them) and they pay for what they get . if you want more work harder and you will bare the fruit of YOUR labor !!|||not anything you would like to see,.....by the way,.....you say you, "what t.v."??,.....|||Impeach him for what! because of some left wingers emotional rabid rants......I think not.|||There's simply no point. Even if it got past the House, no way in hell would they get the 2/3 supermajority in the Senate needed to convict, so why bother? The time and the effort needed would also distract too much from efforts to keep the Republican nominee out of office next term, and might alienate a good portion of the swing-voters the Dems presumably need to get their candidate in the White House. Add to that the sad fact that a majority of the DEMS voted to authorize the use of force, given their own craven interpretation of BushCo.'s lies, and one must conclude it's a total non-starter.

I think at best we'll get some investigations into allegations of wrongdoing if a Dem. gets elected Pres. I wouldn't necessarily expect that Bush would be at the top of the list of those investigated, and if the Dem's are smart, they'll go after the smaller fry systematically to build a case against the higher-ranking members of Bush's admin., maybe getting some of them to flip on their superiors and spill the beans so they can save their own skins. But it's a long shot. The Pubs have shown remarkable discipline keeping the lid on, I think in part because the few dissenters who've parted ways with them, like John DiIulio, got a serious look at BushCo.'s revenge machine, and felt compelled to retract. Everybody else knows to think thrice before they utter a peep of criticism, much less cough up incriminating evidence. They run a tight ship. The mob could learn a thing or two from that bunch about keeping folks "loyal".|||Katrina mishandling? Impeach FEMA.

Weakening National Security? Not even true, see Patriot Act.

Housing crisis? Impeach irresponsible people who signed mortgages they couldn't afford. Unless you can show me evidence that Bush forced these people to sign these documents, then maybe we can talk.|||I think it will quite a difficult task to do impeachment process against the Bush Administration. It's different from Nixon's Watergate scandal case. However, you can try to go through the political and legal process, such as the congress and law abiding matters. There are powerful backups to Bush Administration, such as oil tycoons, weapon manufactures and suppliers, old Bush and Dick Chinney. You may try to tackle some idea from the following website to pursue your impeachment process. America is a free country, not like the fascist city ruled by Donald Tsang Yum-kuen, the heartless and thoughtless damned chief executive.

http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/thepreside鈥?/a>|||There never was one. You must be thinking about Billy clinton.

Dang you can't take a nap while you're watching the news, and expect to wake up in the same century.|||Democrats/Republicans both the same|||There are things that the administration has done that may be questionable, but with less than a year to go, no one has the political balls to try and impeach him.

I have a feeling, that once Bush is out of office, and after 20 or 30 years have passed we will eventually see what was really going on in the administration and we will either love him or hate him for it.
