Blagojevich's impeachment hearings begin today. Instead of attending, he will defend himself on the talk shows in NYC.
I don't think this is going to make him look so good...even though he can't look any worse since there's at least 3 mountains of evidence against him.
His career as governor is over. He knows it, so he's just avoiding the bloodbath.

Therefore the only thing he can do to save his political career is turn public opinion in his direction.
He will be impeached and removed from office. However because of his public relations drive and the willing support of Larry King and the others, he will be re-elected to another state office or federal office by voters who can be duped by public relations smoke screens.|||Yes, I believe he has only his insanity to defend of. He cannot even face the Senate in the person. Giving the interviews out is like" Look at me as victim"|||I think he is planning ti write a book while he is in prison and is doing a pre publication book tour because he won't be able do do one from jail|||I think he might be trying to set up an insanity plea.|||He sure is trying, lol, and it sure is entertaining. But I think it might backfire on him.
