Is it too early to start impeachment action against Obama?

He is going to use his Executive Powers to make changes. Doesn't this alarm you to his hidden agenda? What are his real plans?|||Yes, it does alarm me, but he hasn't done anything impeachable yet.





Our best bet would be to work to inform the American people of the harmful effects of his policies and vote him out of office in 2012 rather than trying in failure to get him impeached.|||Yes, it is too early. What the heck is wrong with you conservatives? First, you advocate impeaching Clinton for an insignificant offense. Then, you say there is no justification for impeaching Bush, despite growing evidence that his administration intentially misrepresented intelligence in order to justify our nation's first pre-emptive war. Now you want to start impeachment procedures on Obama before he is even inaugurated?! Seriously, how far up your own butts are your heads? Nevermind the fact that there is no chance in hell of impeachment occuring with the strong Democrat majority in both houses of Congress.|||Impeachment for what? In order to impeach there has to have been a crime committed. Since there is none you cannot impeach. There is a big difference between "accusations" and an actual crime done. Next is his hidden agenda---what hidden agenda? Why didn't you tell us exactly what his "hidden" agenda is about and where you got all those news from?


As far as I am concerned are the facts clear: Obama won the election, he is the president elect, he will be inaugurated Jan.20, 2009 and from thereon will he be our president---since we can have only ONE president at a time can you not hold Obama responsible for any misdeeds done by the Bush administration until then---and you know it: Bush is busy deregulating the energy plants so that we can have more polluted air. He can still start another war....he can do a lot before he leaves office---so I would say, why don't you just wait and see what is gonna come until January, and then give the new president a timely chance--he got to deal with the worst economic crisis in the history of the U.S.--thanks to those thieves called bankers and mortgage lenders.....|||Sorry. Every President uses his Executive Powers to make changes. It's called signing or vetoing a bill presented to him by Congress.





Now our current President has used, or abused as the case may be, his Executive Powers to make changes without Congressional approval, but apparently that is okay because he's a Republican.|||Bush has executive powers and has done unconstitutional stuff. Held people without a trial for years.





You need to get a life or look at the world as the world and not be so prejudiced or so scared. Maybe you believed too much political garbage.





How could he be impeached when he hasn't done anything yet - right or wrong. Majority of the country believe he is the man for the job right now. Lets give him 4 years to prove it or not.





Had to come back and edit about the guy who believed Bush's terrorism and Iraq and 9/11. There were no Iraqi's involved in 9/11 -- NONE. They were mostly from Saudi Arabia - our "friends" and Bush's good friends. others were from Pakistan and Afgaistan and may have been from elsewhere. But one place they were not from --- Iraq. Saddam Hussein would not allow the Taliban into his country -- none at all until the Americans went in there. They they came to fight us and they were not even iraqi's. Some may be now. But I can't believe so many people swalled trying to link Iraq with 9/11. It just wasn't so. Was 2 different things and we are here with Osama bin Laden (who was responsible for 9/11) still out there in Pakistan or Afghanistan. And you called someone else dumb? (not the initial writer but one of the comments).|||Bush has signed more Executive Orders than any president in history. Some of these included orders to infringe on Constitutional rights of American citizens.





So...no...I don't think you will have much luck.

Thing about him is he is President-Elect, meaning he has NO POWER at the moment. He hasn't taken THE OATH OF OFFICE. He can't break the oath until he takes it. Impeachment is a CRIMINAL action and he can't commit a criminal action based on an oath he is yet to take.|||How about you try to impeach Bush so we get Obama in earlier eh?
