How much money was spent on the Impeachment of Bill Clinton?

How much money did it cost taxpayers to investigate, and try Bill Clinton after the Monica Lewinsky Scandal?|||Good question! Way TOO Much! and for what. That money couldve been spent on more positive things. That was his personal business, and millions cheat every year. But taxpayers paid for this. I would've much rather it been used to feed the hungry and house the homeless. I hope i dont have to pay that much to hire a private Investigator for my husband......jk. GO Hilary|||I don't really think that there was an investigation. I believe all of this chaos was created to draw attention away from his other screw ups|||The investigation itself cost about $60 million. The final report from Ken Starr the investigator, mentioned Whitewater, which motivated the original investigation, three times. It also had the word 'sex' in it over 50 times. His report did not find anything that Clinton did not admit to. Clinton was impeached for telling one lie to the Grand Jury ( which was different than Starr's investigation ). Unfortunately, Ken Starr is now Dean of the Law School at Pepperdine in Malibu. The guy should have been indicted for embezzleing from the taxpayers and attempted assasination of a US President. Every book ( except his own ) has all his connections to the Republican puppet masters. Plus, he really liked the attention - he got lots of dates with underage boys.|||Interesting, isn't it:

Republicans spent $65,000,000.00 on the investigation into Bill Clinton's sexual dalliance with a consensual adult, and finally impeached him because he LIED to CONGRESS.

Republicans only spent $15,000,000.00 on the investigation into the 'terrorist attacks' on the World Trade Center and the U.S. Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

George Bush LIED to CONGRESS about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and used it as his excuse for illegally and unconstitutionally invading Iraq. Yet, impeachment proceedings have not moved forward for this gross criminality, which has resulted in the deaths of 665,000 Iraqis and 2,800 American soldiers (not to mention the tens of thousands who have been permanently maimed, injured or disabled). -RKO-|||Way too much. And then it was a no decision-- If the Democrats had done what they should Al Gore would have won in 2000. But then were would we have been after 9/11? And if you write me please don't say well it wouldn't have happened if Gore had been President.|||87 million was given to Kenneth Starr, it started out investigating whether the white house travel department did all there paperwork right and ended you know where
