If respect to an all knowing all powerful President is manditory Then why did the Founders provide impeachment

Impeachment is a tool to stop Kingly activities and reverence.





If we are required by law to respect the C%26amp;C then why is Impeachment in the Constitution.|||No impeachment,for Bush,,,,,No lies No crimes No laws broken,,,EVER,,,haaaaaaa,,,,oh gosh if I could only believe that I could be a republican...cherio,,,F,P|||Cause human beings are not perfect ! Our founding fathers were Christians and they knew this !|||Because the founders feared an overly powerful executive branch, seeing it as a threat to democracy.|||UNelected Dictator Dumbya is the poster boy for it.|||because it's NOT mandatory.|||remember where they came from...they did not want blind faith for the presidency any more than they wanted it in Europe...impeachment, or the possibility of such, was meant to be a safeguard. Respecting the office of the president and respecting the occupant are two different things.|||No such thing as an all knowing, all powerful president or an all knowing wise voting public, so there needed to be a method of removal before harm to the country occurs.
